Has anyone had a Micra (leadless), wireless pacemaker implanted ?
Has anyone has a Mica, or leadless, wireless pacemaker implanted ?
My pacemaker wire is holding open a flap of my tricuspid valve. I have perm. Afib with sick sinus syndrome. Open tricuspid flap is causing R. Ventricular dilation due to regurgitation, heading toward failure. planning to remove leads( wires) and implant wireless pacer.

I just received my Aveir Leadless PM on 3/2/26. Single chamber, however Aveir PM has a dual chamber PM now called "i2i" (implant to implant communication). The norm was 1 chamber, go leadless, 2 chambers, bump on the collar bone, leads to the heart. Now that has obviously changed. Tomorrow I see the EP for follow up and there may be some adjustments to the Aveir PM while there. Right now, all good with my experience. Follow-up may change some things.
Cardioversion and Aveir PM, I',m on day 8 of NSR (Normal Sinus Rythm). Left out some details but in the short term addressed your question, short timer but looking good. Active 66 year old male. All the Best!!!

66 year old male who just had a Aveir Leadless PM implanted 8 days ago. I'm very active, weights, eilliptical, cycling (fast). I asked them to program it to my lifestyle. My groin still has me down, so can't tell you what my workouts are like however the anticipation is it will be positive.
What I learned is it's a back up to your Sinus Node. Like a generac is to your home. Sinus Node ignores its duties the PM jumps in and keeps the arrythmia steady until the SN comes back on board or engages.
Not a Dr, just what I have reseached and what the EP explained to me. I hope to never have to rely solely on the PM. All the Best!
