@hopeful33250 Hi Teresa, I had my appointment and it went well. In the morning I got an email that my test results were posted in the portal so I quickly printed them out so I could discuss the numbers with the doctor. I think all but one were within range and the doctor was not concerned at all. Basically they were better than they were pre-transplant so I have no future appointments scheduled.
You ask what the number is but there are many numbers and I do not see one number that would summarize. What number are you referring to?

Hello my name is Dave I'm new here so bare with me. I was diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension on Feb 17,2017 I have had a lot of heart health issues since birth. (oh by the way I'm 62 years young) I'm just looking for someone to I can relate to. Thanks

@dave2455 Hi Dave, it sounds like you have really been through the ringer. I presume with the current therapies, CPAP, oxygen, that you are feeling somewhat better thankfully.

Why is is difficult to diagnose PH? I just had an ECHO for it and saw the doctor yesterday, are those measures not enough for an accurate diagnosis? My numbers were better than they were 11 months ago and most were within range so he was not concerned at all.

Your post really was not that long, by the way.

@windwalker , Your story makes my heart sing. It's always so nice to hear of someone doing better under such difficult diagnoses. I am really glad that you are feeling so good, that's all most of us want, isn't it?

@windwalker Hi, if that question is directed to me, I had a liver transplant in September, 2016.

@hopeful33250 Of course the equipment is adjustable -- if you can figure out how to adjust it. There are two gyms at my club, the upstairs one where I go does not really have lifting equipment. When my son is visiting and I bring him he goes downstairs and I go upstairs.
I did go to the gym section of my club yesterday but felt so inadequate. The only things I am comfortable with there are the treadmills and ellipticals. My PT said he might come to help me transition from the equipment at the PT place where his to this equipment but so far he has not followed on it.

@hopeful33250 Believe me I have tried, but I don't want to nag, it's his decision. He's a very devoted family man and his one day off during the week he does a lot of work around his home.

@hopeful33250, my PT is a great guy, we have a wonderful rapport and if I need a PT again I will definitely go to him. He's about 40 and we enjoy talking about out kids while doing PT. He sounds like a wonderful Dad, very involved with his children. I've been to about four different physical therapists at various times for various things but he is by far the best.
