Benign carcinoid tumor in bronchi tube
Hi I've been diagnosed with a benign typical carcinoid tumor in my bronchi tube in right lung was found when I went to A&E with pneumonia back in July of this year I've had 2 bronchoscopys 2 biopys which showed benign carcinoid tumor I was sent for ct scan mri scan and pet scan pet scan was clear I was put under general anesthetic as my lung specialist said he might be able to remove tumor by going down my throat instead of haven surgery but didn't work but he was able to take 40% of tumor out as it was blocking my air way that's how pneumonia set in the 40% he removed also came back benign carcinoid 1 lymph node was removed and checked also clear now I need surgery to remove the rest I'm so confused as doctor said its a benign tumor then Google is telling me it's a low grade cancerous tumor but doctor nor lung specialist said anything about cancer just said its benign doesnt benign mean non cancerous and can any one tell me how surgery went thank you bless you all xx

@nannybb sure is it's nearly time for me to go to bed your day is only starting 🤣
@nannybb some day she might see the life she's living isn't the right way to live
@jessie1990 It seems like such a horrible existence. But I know for a fact, once you get involved with substance abuse, it is almost impossible to make an impact in someone's life. Like you said, they have to want to change. I got hooked on percocet for my migraines. It was given to me with a legal script, but after awhile one pill didn't work, so I took two. When I reached 3. I got scared and had help to get off cold turkey. Not a good experience, but I'm glad I did
It would still be my drug of choice if given one.
@jessie1990 Well, it's 1:45 here. I just had lunch. I hope you can get zone sleep!!

@jessie1990 I understand. They keep trying. I keep saying no.
@nannybb @californiazebra @jessie1990 I feel like you folks. I have an appointment with a pulmonologist tomorrow for valley fever (Coccidioidomycosis). Try to say that? Should be fun.
I just looked it up online. Wondering... are you living in an area that has a high rate of people diagnosed with Valley Fever (a bit easier to say)?? Or were you exposed by camping etc. in an area where you would have in haled the spores? Have you been diagnosed with pneumonia? What symptoms have you had that are lingering, and if X-rays have been done, what did they reveal? I'm super interested on several levels. I wondering how this could be different than Mass Cell Activation Syndrome. Is it the bacterial component? Reading about this reveals it can be quite serious. "Valley Fever" sounds so benign. It's not at all. 🙏
