Living with LPSVS (long post-COVID vaccination syndrome)

Posted by sandtoes @sandtoes, Jan 11, 2024

Has anyone experienced long-covid symptoms from the vaccines. I have been searching for 10 months now for the cause of my severe fatigue. I have been sent to an ENT, a cardiologist, a hematologist and undergone so many tests/scans. My doc told me a few days ago that he is stumped. No idea. Come back in a month. I pace myself to get through a day. Is this LPCVS? Is there something to do besides pace oneself? Should I ever get another covid vaccine?

I'd be interested in any papers/links on "thousands effected by the vaccines". I believe there are links between diseases/stress and cascading autoimmune and other reactions. I got celiac after contracting H1N1 years ago. Fox news is not science, it only presents and frequently mangles snippets of scientific news and opinions. As an example "Some viral-vector vaccines were linked" is misinformation because it gives no statistics, no facts, and no or weak background. Some of its sources are Fox news snippets. It is like saying there is a link between being human and getting run over by a train. This site has some info on the rare but serious reactions of vaccines: https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/coronavirus/in-depth/coronavirus-vaccine/art-20484859#:~:text=In%20some%20people%2C%20COVID%2D19,complications%20called%20myocarditis%20and%20pericarditis. Thank you for the links. As you indicated, people can access the VAERS site for reactions to vaccines and post their personal info. It is a useful site for scientists as well. As a scientist, I review and evaluate research papers. For example, your first link (below) does not contain results, just "yet to be well characterized" for 241 people that posted on the Yale forum. So, no conclusions, just possibilities. The second is a link to a congressman. The third is a .com site that likely was not written by a doctor based on the quality of the writing, mistakenly indicating that a Yale forum is "Yale Just Proved" anything, lack of either references or citations for figures, and the author's "return to good science" embrace of RF Kennedy Jr. who has no background in science. That said, I believe illnesses and vaccines can trigger autoimmune and other diseases in some people and I wish there was more directed research. I have celiac disease because I caught H1N1 15 years ago and it triggered my HLA DQ8 gene. About 40% of the population has this or HLA-DQ2, but it is dormant in all but ~1% of the population. I wish it was easier for disabled people to get SS disability and to have better support networks. I hope that Medicaid and SNAP are not cut, because there are too many people that are hurting and with minimal resources.

Introduction:
A chronic post-vaccination syndrome (PVS) after covid-19 vaccination has been reported but has yet to be well characterized.

Methods:
We included 241 individuals aged 18 and older who self-reported PVS after covid-19 vaccination and who joined the online Yale Listen to Immune, Symptom and Treatment Experiences Now (LISTEN) Study from May 2022 to July 2023. We summarized their demographics, health status, symptoms, treatments tried, and overall experience.

Hello! I am writing this question because i have time.
Disclaimer: To anyone thinking im anti-vaxxer, no im not. I support vaccine and i am a medical professional. Im vaccinated with every vaccine possible (because of work) and i believe vaccine works. I cant really give exact timeline because its been years but ill try to remember ever detail.

However, i wanna start when i got my vaccine on 2021. My first dose was moderna and 4 mos after that i got pfizer. In 2022, i got my third dose still with pfizer. Almost a year later after i got my initial dose, i suddenly felt dizzy. It felt like i was floating and it felt like im gonna faint (but never did). I thought that was because of the nicotine from the vape i was using that time. Ff, i developed headache that lasted for months and on december of 2022 i felt like i was so scared about my health that maybe i had a tumor because of headache and dizziness and feeling of faint. Thats when i decided to see a neurologist. He said i was having panic attack and diagnosed me with GAD. He sent me for head CT scan because i was so scared and to prove to me that there was nothing and yes, my scan was negative. January 2023, i had heart palpitations, and chest pain. I went to cardiologist and she said i was fine. She did 2D Echo on my heart and everything was fine. So i went back to my neurologist and gave me anxiety pills. Since that, i was so conviced that i just have anxiety and that it will be better. 2024 i also had a CT scan on my abdomen because im having pain on my left which the doctors didnt know what causes it. The scan was negative. Ff now its 2025, ive heard about LPCVS or Long Post Covid Vaccination Syndrome. Ive heard news online, studies done by researchers, read articles, and found this forum so i think i need to post something like this. I am still currently feeling the symptoms i had since 2022. Dizziness, Fatigue, Muscle Pain, Exercise intolerance, Fear, Anxiety, Bowel inconsistencies. I believe its chronic now and i dont know where to go for this symptoms to be studied or evaluated and or maybe help me lighten up the burden i am feeling right now. Thanks!

My, oh my! Ditto here! After Moderna vac and a booster. I have fallen to the same issues, (except for the anxiety and fear. I am So very sorry that these additional symptoms afflict you. =(
ALL of the other issues curse me, plus, peripheral neuropathy. I DO have hope that research will eventually come up with remedies to these daily battles.
Anyone out there find any type of relief?

Investigate Triple Therapy treatment, pioneered by Dr. Jaco Laubscher in Johannesburg and offered in Birmingham, Alabama through Dr. Jordan Vaughn’s clinic. His website: https://medhelpclinics.com/service/long-covid-clinic

Both doctors have video interviews posted on YouTube.

I am on Triple Therapy now.

I am not an anti-vaxer either but am sure my problems, starting in April, 2023 are from the vaccine. Vertigo, chronic fatigue, heart palpitations, high blood pressure, brain fog, exercise intolerance (I was a very active, exercising person), heat intolerance are all symptoms that are chronic or flare up at times. I have been to an hematologist, heart specialist, pulmonologist, allergy specialist, endocrinologist, and had every blood test and scan know to man, all finding nothing significant. The best practice I have learned I learned here from other suffering folks. Pacing. I have finally achieved a level of activity where I can do some basic house chores, some shopping and a bit of exercise. Not always on the same day. I have pushed to exercise and I'm able to do about 20 minutes most days. Pushing myself past where I reach tired (sometimes just cutting up veggies) results in a day or two set back. The key is immediately stopping activity when the fatigue kicks in. The first year, not one doc would talk about the possibility this was caused by vaccines. I was told I needed anti-depressants, or probably just getting old. I even had one doc excuse himself from the room saying he would be right back and then, he never came back. (no longer my primary!!!) I have given up on doctors. They wear blinders and do not look at the whole person in front of them. I hope you find some relief. Pace yourself and take care.

You just described my life since the vaccines.
I, too, had a headache (for months) which left me bedridden for the duration. I, too, had a negative CT after fears of a tumor.
My health has never been the same. If I had to get up early and go to a job every morning I'd be homeless.
Exercise intolerance. Heat and cold intolerance. Dizziness. Tinnitus. Fatigue. Gut issues. Depression.
I just qualified for insurance yet do not know where to start, but my GP believes I had an "inflammatory response" to the Moderna vaccines and to avoid boosters.
Basically it has affected every aspect of my health and it's devastating.

i share your symptoms and they too are chronic with flares .. i understand that pacing myself is key but the activity i can do one day is sometimes too much on another. Some days my symptoms can start before i have even gotten out of bed. i have always been one to push through any illness but this is a whole different animal..and i find myself overdoing before i know i have done it … please know that there are others like you out there and care about you

Thanks! Same here on symptoms. Every day starts with accessing the energy I wake up with. Pushing never ends well. I thank you for your kind words. Wishing you wellness also!
