Living with LPSVS (long post-COVID vaccination syndrome)

Posted by sandtoes @sandtoes, Jan 11, 2024

Has anyone experienced long-covid symptoms from the vaccines. I have been searching for 10 months now for the cause of my severe fatigue. I have been sent to an ENT, a cardiologist, a hematologist and undergone so many tests/scans. My doc told me a few days ago that he is stumped. No idea. Come back in a month. I pace myself to get through a day. Is this LPCVS? Is there something to do besides pace oneself? Should I ever get another covid vaccine?

I am finally seeing what has been coming out about long term effects. 3 years post Moderna BOOST mandated by my lovely old state of NY, the healthy MMA fighter that I was at the end of 2019, I am now struggling to live each and everyday. NEVER HAD, NOR DIAGNOSED WITH ANTIBODY OR COVID. I now have Rheumatoid Arthritis which comes with complete inflammation of my entire body, I have nodules ,lumps that have now formed on the palms of both hands (I feel like an "amphibian". The dexterity in my right hand is shot. I suffer from vertigo, extreme fatigue, extreme muscle pain, and vertigo. I will be 40 in May. I went from working 7 days a week just a few years ago to waiting on APPEAL of my SSDI. I never thought in my life that I would feel the way I feel right now. I have not had any sort of "vax" since bootcamp in 2003. I do not partake in the flu shot. The year before my initial shot I was training 6 days a week in mixed martial arts living a clean and healthy lifestyle. Now every single day is a crapshoot. I am now coming to light of this entire situation. I have seen- Neurologist, rheumatologist, psychiatrist, hand surgeon, endocrinologist, OBGYN, multiple blood work, imaging, and studies (3 sleep studies after diagnosed insomnia). I waited in NYS to see a Rheumatologist 16 MONTHS to diagnose the inflammatory disorder. I now reside in South Carolina and am getting set up with doctors at MUSC, but I literally came to light of this a few days ago.

Investigate Triple Therapy treatment, pioneered by Dr. Jaco Laubscher in Johannesburg and offered in Birmingham, Alabama through Dr. Jordan Vaughn’s clinic. His website: https://medhelpclinics.com/service/long-covid-clinic

Both doctors have video interviews posted on YouTube.

I am on Triple Therapy now.

I commented already on this. There is an article under NIH titled "The existence of adrenal insufficiency in patients with covid-19 pneumonia. An 8am Cortisol BLOOD draw would be needed along with an ACTH test or other. Just make sure it's not a salivary test because it's inaccurate. There are a few legit articles mentioning how some people are either getting Secondary or Primary Adrenal Insufficiency after Covid or during. Please don't self-medicate because it can become extremely dangerous.
if the problem is with the adrenals. I have Adrenal insufficiency before covid came along. I will be getting my 8 th vaccination and haven't had any problems But that's my experience. Hope you get your answer soon

@lnizz Welcome to SC, I live just south of Charleston and see medical professionals at Roper and MUSC. While I think highly of both systems and the professionals that work there I have achieved zero results on my LC since I experienced symptoms in November '21 (from my first and last Moderna booster). They are all hard working professionals trying to help, but as many of us will attest, they for whatever reasons don't know what to do. They have done what they know to do which is test the usual tests which do not pick up any of the LC causes. I went to Mayo Rochester in September '23 after working my way through (and standing in very long 'time' lines as you mention) locally. Mayo tried their best, and maybe they have a new working theory, but I was not cured by Mayo's approach. I did learn moderation which has helped me manage the symptoms and not crash. I have turned to 'Dr YouTube' in search of credible medical professionals working on LC cures. I became very interested in Triple Therapy and the approach that Dr Bruce Patterson and his team use. I chose to pursue Dr. Patterson's program. It emphasized finding the root cause and keeping the story short is inflammation. I started with his proprietary blood test and lo and behold I have several interleukin ranges way out of bounds and several others slightly out of bounds. I am actually excited (I know that sounds crazy) to have found something wrong with me that shows up in tests! I am on day 12 of his treatment plan that is a 3 to 6 month program with an 80% success rate. His talks on YouTube 'scratch my itch' of finding root causes that causes symptoms and not endlessly droning on about symptoms. He plainly states "we aren't testing for the right things" and "how can you solve something when you don't know what is wrong". He is a Michigan undergrad, Northwestern Med School grad, ran a large program at Stanford, and was involved in AIDS research and solutions. Highly recommend you spend the hours necessary on YouTube and Googling to find something works for you. I wish you the best in your journey to better health.

Wow thank you so much for your response!! I am so glad that I found this discussion because I legit feel like my life is over. I already went ahead and ordered the DETOX plan with the 3 major vitamins, I have been and am continuing my chiropractic treatment, craniosacral therapy, inflammatory RA medication, vertigo supplements, sleep supplements, and obviously now that I am coming to learn about this crazy syndrome I am reaching out to my medical team at MUSC about what to do next, I have also dived into looking at the upcoming new ICD-10 codes to see if anything has changed due to the presence of thousands of patients that are in the same boat as us all. Just today I found out an older lady that I know in Buffalo NY got DENIED SSDI BECAUSE OF THE VAX?! How can NYS do that??? They mandated the vax which brings me to 2025 39 years old barely being able to make it outside for 10 minutes. I am glad mine was transferred to SC, do I have hope it will get approved who knows, all I know is I want my life back. Thank you so much for sharing and I am in the process of following exactly what you said in your response.

I have long covid symptoms tiredness and shortness of breath. First time hearing of vaccine causing symptoms. Is this common? Is it well-known?

@tik Yes, the vaccine causes LC. In my case from my first Moderna Booster after the typical first 2 Moderna vaccinations. Some medical professionals refer to it as Vax Injury. Read enough and you will find many mentioning it. At Mayo I asked "Am I crazy to think I got LC from the vaccine?", and the response I got from several is "we've heard that from others too".
