Constant tinnitus: Are there any solutions?

I’ve had ear ringing Tininitis for a year now .Sounds like thousands of bees

I also have dealt with tinnitus for over 25 years . I got Bluetooth hearing aids last year that cancelled 95% of the tinnitus. I’m also on the border of being Anemic and seen it mention causing Tinnutus

I am a volunteer support group volunteer for the American Tinnitus Association. I have helped hundreds find peace because our silence was stolen. If you can manipulate your tinnitus you may have somatic tinnitus or outside the brain perhaps no hair cell damage in side the brain. Have you had a hearing test to possibly rule out hair cell damage? . It could be a misaligned jaw with can be supported with a mouth guard if it is somatic tinnitus. What kind of medical advice have you received? From who?

Any feedback on the therapy called Lenire?

Thanks for your question. Lenire is an FDA approved product that is expensive. In my experience I see no difference between the product and helping someone learn how to retrain the brain using white, pink or lavender noise as I was trained. Hearing aids, mindfulness through learning cognitive behavioral therapy are more effective.

Can you tell me where I can get blue tooth for that just for left ear? Going on 5 years with 24/7 high ring that even ENT can't fix and even tho I have hearing loss it's not enough to give me hearing aids. Please and thank you

@beautifullybroken in my experience ENT's and even otoneurologists cannot do anything for tinnitus. Tinnitus does not come from the ear, apparently. Instead from the brain and/or auditory nerve.

I had a list of audiologists and clinics for "Tinnitus and Hyperacusis." It was either on Tinnitus Talk or the Hyperacusis Forum.

@beautifullybroken my audiologist got mine for me I have phonak hearing aids you can Google hearing aids if you don’t have an audiologist. They worked for me but might not you . They told me they didn’t know but as soon as I put them in the tinnitus was gone! I see the audiologist next Thursday and will ask.

I call mine a mosquito in a wind tunnel (closest description I could think of).
It gets worse as the day progresses, possibly because I take ibuprofen for chronic pain. I also am a grinder-clencher. I have a night guard but it’s in bad shape. They’re around $600 and not covered by most insurance. I’ve added OTC ones to build it up. (The last time I got it replaced the dentist looked at the wear and said, “Impressive”.)
Has anyone tried hearing aids? My physician wants me to go to an audiologist but with no insurance, it’s more than I can afford. The hearing aids on TV are a fraction of the cost. (Wonder if I can “test drive” one.)
I need only my right ear but can’t seem to find them sold singly. Some times I can handle the noise fine, other times I want to turn up the TV or music to make it stop.
