PART THREE, last submission of THREE, to @mudman

Lastly, but of deep importance, here in USA, we have agencies to which patients can report cases of what is believed to have been malpractice, etc. I have prepared a rather detailed, step by step accounting of what amounts to LIES placed into my medical record of events encountered in the emergency department of one of our local hospitals. Lies that refute what actually transpired while I was there for about 2 1/2 hours, scared to death, with blood gushing out my left nostril, down my throat, gagging on blood clots and the taste of warm blood...there is so much that was NOT provided to me, and then told at the end of 2 1/2 hours, "Sorry, there's no ENT available to help you here, so we are sending you to another hospital." Except that the record shows that I LEFT AGAINST MEDICAL AVICE/CONSENT! NO, THEY wanted me to leave, thus more lies surrounding the papers presented for me to sign (which I told the nurse I could not read what was there since I di not have my readers, but she said no problem, just sign and I'll take you out to your husband and you can leave...and so I did, wanting to be out of that nightmare place! NOTHING said about "leaving against medical consent/advice..." There's a great deal more, but suffice it to say that the New York State Dept of Health oversees what happens in hospitals, medical facilities, etc., and when I spoke to them, they indeed were VERY interested in what I endured and the subsequent FABRICATIONS entered in medical records (in itself a legal issue). My point? YOU may have access to filing similar report about your situation and the hospital could well be investigated. AS WELL THEY SHOULD BE. YOU NEED TO FIND OUT IF YOU HAVE SIMILAR RECOURSE IN YOUR COUNTRY.

Okay, I've written a book here. Hope you will make the time to read through what I've provided to you, and find helpful info.

Wishing you the best: Iris🌺🙏🏽

Mmmm quite the responce!
Unfortunately Greece has none of the agencies or Pro Bono available to anyone. I do have a lawyer that says I have a good case and we will stat procedures. I have all the Medical records and personal information as you suggest and will do everything possible to make the Hospital pay for their malpractice.
The legal system here is usually very slow, sometimes 3 to 5 years and fees vary to about 50 usd an hour. This will probably cost me 15K to fight but I am willing to continue my battle with the medical system here.

Difficult to not determine a tone of sarcasm behind your comment "Mmmm quite the response!"

Yes, my reply was indeed thorough. Time consuming. Intent was to offer thorough avenues to your horrifying hospital stay and the "unexplained" massive growth on your tongue, and resources for self-help.

Your closing comment about the legal costs indicates that the legal system in your country does not include no-cost representation for personal injury and medical malpractice cases. Thankfully, we have that available here in the USA, as stated in my reply.

MY closing comments: Best of luck on your journey, and may your tongue turn out to not be cancerous or harmful to you in any way.

@connie1954, I have posted on this subject quite some time ago. I learned at Mayo Clinic that I have BMS; however, no treatment was suggested. So, I just suffered and let ice melt in my mouth and held my cold hands over my lips. Of course, the inside of my mouth burned like heck. Finally, my dentist suggested that I go to our local dental school. I dropped a name of someone I knew who taught there and was immediately seen by the oral pathologist. He was kind and said only one thing he could offer that had helped some of his patients was Clonazepam. Bingo! I take 0.5 mg, two daily, one with lunch and one with dinner. This doctor saved my life! He came out to meet my husband and never sent a bill! I do not think this condition will ever go away, but I have relief from the Clonazepam. At least ask your doctor about this approach. It worked for me. With all good wishes, @joybringer 1.

How long have you been ob this drug and have you had any negative side effects. Has it really relieved you BMS?
You may have life-threatening withdrawal symptoms if you stop using the medicine suddenly after long-term use. Some withdrawal symptoms may last up to 12 months or longer.

Thanks

I have been using Gabapentine for 2 years now with little of know help. I have found out if you mix 3-4 drops of hot sauce in 1 teaspoon of water and swish for 30 sec it is a temperary relieve. Also, I dont know if there is anything to this but I have had pneumonia for 4 weeks. I have been on numerous antibotics and various other medication. So far I have not had a problem with the BMS since I started the meds. I just wonder if there was some type of infection in my mouth that no one tested for. I guess time will tell. Thanks for the aditional info.
