I can relate. You are not alone.
Have you been checked for Fibromyalgia or some type of autoimmune condition?
I understand your pain. It is different for me now, once so very active, I can barely work. I also rely on a cane at times as walking is so very difficult.

Hang in there. You will get answers. Sometimes blood work doesn't show everything and it is a process of ruling out.

Edit:

I want to add, any chance you can, try aqua therapy. Water helps. Massage also helps. It takes the edge off.

There is a good group on Facebook—the Low Dose Naltrexone Research Trust—that has excellent materials and support.

I would love to be in that group in face book for constant pain

It is so sad to see so many of you who are in constant pain, like me. But, I am still mobile and able to do some work around the house. This will be kind of a stretch, but here goes. Has anyone discovered that they have long term Lymes disease? I have had Lymes several times. When all my pain symptoms suddenly reappeared three years ago after being under good conrol, I had a Lymes test. It was presumptively positive. The Western Blot test showed a negative due to there not being enough bands in the positive range. I keep wondering if my Lymes has been lurking in the background just out of detectable range but still actively causing many of my chronic symptoms. Anyone else out there discover this, or, am I grasping at straws. Thanks and hope you all have a less painful day..

Once you have lines your test will always be positive.

My cane and on different occasions my walker are my friends! I’m able to do many things and they keep me safer from falling. I try to focus on what I can do!

I agree, same with me.
Can’t go anywhere anymore without my walker or my cane since my balance is so bad.
Last thing I want to do is fall and break my hip.
That would do me in for sure.

I’m with you!
I do get depressed at times, but then I read what others are going thru, and I realize,it could be far more worse for me.
It’s horrible when you can’t do what you used to.
I would like just one day without any pain!

I know exactly how you feel! My pain pump was supposed to be the solution to my reoccurring pain. 87% said to have good to excellent pain mitigation. Looks like I am unlucky to be in the lower 15% who get little to no pain relief. Yes, I also get depressed at times. My pain level has increased over the past two to three months. It is currently a constant seven to eight. Lying down on the bed used to be my "refuge" from pain, but, no more. However, as you mentioned. it could be worse. My prayers and the the prayers of many brothers and sisters seem to go up and evaporate. Very discouraging. I not only am not able to do most of the things that I used to do, but the pain makes it very difficult to find joy in much of anything. Not how I envisioned retirement.

Nothing. God’s Word tells us that the rain falls both on the just and the unjust. Trust me, I have had some pretty heated discussions with God. Do rejoice only when we are in good times, or, like Paul, rejoice in whatever circumstances we find ourselves.
