Multidisciplinary Care Model

The Mayo Clinic Adult Congenital Heart Disease Program is based on a collaborative multidisciplinary care model. The members of this multidisciplinary team include congenital cardiologists, congenital cardiovascular surgeons, nurse practitioners and registered nurses. The Adult Congenital Heart Disease Clinic has a seamless integration with other subspecialties at Mayo Clinic, making it easy to obtain expert opinion and care for every medical condition (cardiac and non-cardiac) affecting adults with congenital heart disease.
