You can feel better!

Hello. I thought I would post this pic today to hopefully inspire others to keep plodding along with your treatments whether they be antibiotics or taking a natural approach. Never give up on regaining your health! I just finished an hour long bicycle ride. There have been many years where this was an impossibility. There were many years where I couldn't walk 20 feet without sitting to catch my breath. I am welcoming all other success stories.

I am so glad to see this. I am just starting my journey after having a virus in January. Everything I see and read from everyone is scaring me to death. I don’t know what to expect. Surgery, meds being horrible, going on disability?? So scared. I need to know that there is hope for me.

Thank you. I will check out these sites. I really like my Doctor but I feel that he is hard to get a hold of when I am having questions. When I was diagnosed I felt I was not well educated on what I have. Like how do you handle having the flu like symptoms? I find they can be debilitating. Is there something I can take, drink more water, tylenol? Any suggestions? Small things like this I just need someone to ask.

My name is Jane 🙂

@jameck, I did have flu-like symptoms when I was infected. Be careful, it is easy to over medicate on over the counter meds. Now that I am in remission, I do not have those symptoms.

I got that awful flu and double pneumonia two Januarys ago - and also got the MAC infection diagnosis at the end of January 2017, too. They told me I had strain A flu, it was awful.

@windwalker my cough has lessened. Weird but I hardly cough at all now.

@jameck Jane, are you doing the nebulized sodium chloride by any chance?

I am using NeilMed Sinus Rinse. I learned that there are now questions about several treatments since March of this year that should have been looked at more closely. But what that means, no one has explained to us. I do wake up with less than 2 hours of sleep, try to go back but have horrific nightmares waking me up so stuffed. My CPAP is on for less than 5 hours a night. I was put on Klonopin after brain surgery and Norco and Gabapentin. I am sure these are creating problems even though I went through a year of reducing these meds. My problem is not understanding what is going on including the lack of a neurologist. I have never been able to take any antihistamines for my allergies and our house really needs to be cleaned and cleared of 30 years of collecting. Our shades and curtains need replacement. The Hunter-Douglas Shades are so filthy and I was going to replace them this past winter but I got go darn sick and weak.

@windwalker Hi Teri, Thank you for the encouragement. I should also report how thankful and grateful to God I am that right now I am experiencing a period of good health and I am able to walk on the beach and even body surf!
