I'm in the process of gathering my info for them in Rochester but the entire process is inundating especially since all my scans and reports are slightly over a year old. Thanks for your help.
@nlback22
Thank you so much, all really good info. I'm in the process of getting my doctor to get updated imaging and give me a referral. Then I will call The Mayo Clinic in Rochester back.
Thanks again

Does anyone know a specialist for Bertolotti syndrome in the NYC area? I can't take the pain any longer. Already done PT and several injections which have done nothing. It's quite painful to function with everyday tasks. My sleep is also suffering, along with my emotional health, as it causes extreme limitations on daily living, limiting most social activities. The worse is that no one truly understands these limitations and trust me I push through everyday with this chronic pain. Standing, sitting and walking more that a block is excruciating, even using a cane. The pain makes me double over to try to relieve some of the pain. I try not to take 15mg of tramadol, since it's the only medication that takes the edge off. I also have one leg that is 1/2 inch. For reference, I did have a failed TLIFT fusion 5 years ago (L2-L5) for DDD, however, my multi level bilateral lumbar spinal stenosis was not addressed during this surgery and now how significant bilateral neuropathy, along with arthritis through the entire spine. I've seen several surgeons, however, most cannot give me a
hopeful potential success rate for a revision surgery. I just want to feel somewhat like a semi-normal 71 yr old person, who was so very active and now can only do minimal necessary daily activities. Can anyone help with possible referrals. I'm getting desperate at this point. Thank you!
