Why did this heart palpation hurt?
I was eating and I had a heart palpation, it hurt. Why? I don't think I've ever had one that hurt. Am I okay?

A heart palpitation is just a skipped beat or an extra beat (called a premature beat). When that happens, the next beat can be stronger than normal, and that stronger beat can feel like a sudden thump or even a quick ache in the chest. That’s why it can briefly feel painful.
