What natural or vitamin supplements can be used in place of Entresto

Posted by sirfrazier1 @sirfrazier1, 2 days ago

I have been on Eliquis for Afib and Entresto after getting 2 stents. The pharmaceuticals company dropped their support and my 3 month cost went from $10 to $2158, which I can't afford.

Entresto just went generic. It should a lot less expensive now.

Eliquis is expensive but there are alternatives to it.

With any medications of supplements you should not take or stop taking without the advice and coordination with your doctors.

Talk to your doctors about generics of those two medications or alternatives for you. I do know as I mentioned Entresto did go generic.

Call the manufacturer that is making the.
A number of companies have programs to help people who can’t afford the cost or the insurance won’t pay for it or they can’t afford insurance
Look them up call the 800 number and talk to him
I did this many years ago when I had an inhaler that was very expensive and my insurance cost very little
In the end, it cost me zero dollars with their program
Good luck

Thank you, I have been on the manufacturer's program for 2 years.
I received notice on August 4 that the last refill on the program had to be in by August 1. That's how I went from $10 to $2158

When I was on Entresto I was on the manufactures plan and paid nothing for Entresto as my insurance did not pay for it.

I appealed to BCBS Federal and they approved and was now available through my plan. So I went from paying $0 to paying $250.00 every three months.

Just recently couple of months ago Entresto went generic. I went from $250.00 every 3 months to $20.00 every 3 months.

Always asked about generics. Per my doctors the generics contain and must contain the same main ingredients of the brand name. If any difference it would be fillers.
