IMO, Considering just how horrific covid is and how it affects some people these so called scientists could have developed something that actually worked better. That being said, I am glad the vaccine did minimize symptoms for those who would have otherwise possibly succumbed to covid, but it does not negate the fact that many people have been injured by the vaccine, myself included. I've been retired from a 40 year career in public health since 2016. I have no reason to "push" vaccines other than my belief that they are effective in protecting people. Please take your misinformation elsewhere.

I thought this was discussing weakness, dizziness, and balance, not vaccinations. I had all my vaccines and still got CoVid May 1, 2022. Yes, part of me would like to see the alternate multiverse where I didn't get the vaccines and compare how CoVid affected me, but that is not possible. I didn't have to be hospitalized, which is why my infection was deemed mild, but the first 3 months I was so sick I could hardly move. I crawled to the bathroom. Tested my kids when I needed tea, water, or broth. I couldn't drive. And while I can now walk short distances, I have many long CoVid issues, including weakness, dizziness, and balance. Post Exertional Malaise is my most prominent issue. I finally got to be seen at the Long CoVid Clinic near me. The doctor has me wearing compression socks and drinking 64 oz. if sugar-free electrolytes a day. But my dizziness (I think lightheadedness is more accurate) is worse, And my nausea too, They seem to go hand in hand. I sit up slowly, get up slowly, walk slowly, and still find myself bumping into the wall I stay close to to help keep my balance.. Any ideas to help would be appreciated.

No one really seems to know what to do with us and frankly many wish we just disappeared. Every symptom talked about is with me every day. Just so tired of it . We just lost a fabulous young man to suicide as his athletic prowess and ability to work and travel was gone . He tried , he truly did !So sad Covid is still killing people!

Try Active. You will have to get it from your doctor.

It is helping me with the dizziness.

Good luck

I’d suggest vestibular Physical Therapy to at least test to see if you have benign positional vertigo.

I will look into it. Thank you

I got Covid in Nov. of 21. Yesterday I took an after breakfast nap, an after lunch nap and a pre dinner nap. I too am off balance, thank God for walls & furniture. My appetite is back but only for limited foods. I’m on countless medications. Lost a lot of my hair. I’m thankful for this group so I know it’s not just me. I’m hoping with the pandemic lessened, scientists will pay more attention & do more research to help those of us with long Covid. Hugs to all.

I have had the "tipsy feeling" sometimes less sometimes worse--Since 12/2020 and recently 3/23. Functional but aware of limitations. Just keep going, naps and all, prayers for all.

I agree. I ‘d had problems with vertigo/motion sickness in the past. It was worse after Covid. My PT did the Epley Maneuver on me successfully last week. It took two treatments. No dizziness since.
