Is this the result of the vaccines, or of having Covid

That’s scary. I’m not sure if you want feedback or just encouragement? If you want feedback, you need to see get a referral to a cardio for POTS. When you stand up quickly, is it worse? Also, I had read in another thread that electrolyte water and salty foods helped some, and I think (?) that may have helped me?
Anyways. Please be careful. You may need a walker for awhile? Falls are terrifying!!!

I suffered 2 small strokes after 2nd pfizer shot. Of course no one wants to blame pfizer. Then in Jan 2022 I got covid and everything went downhill from there. I have fallen twice and take it real easy when I am walking.

I got all the shots for covid. In Jan of 2022 I got covid and in ICU for 6 days with very high BP and pneumonia. Suffered since then. High BP was because of covid prior to this I had low blood pressure. All in all I have been extremely fatigued and not even being able to go out anywhere. Just this past week I have started to have a little more energy and went out a couple of times with my hubby. I still have not so good days but am seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. I was beginning to think this would never end but little by little things are changing. I am writing this for all those sufferimg long haul with covid. Stay strong it will get better. I have a chronic lung disease also and the vaccines protected me from getting it in my lungs. Keep strong everyone and we can make it through this together.

What I do not understand is how can you get a disease after you are vaccinated for the disease. That makes no sense to me.

Vaccines are not all an 100% protection against infection. Some (e.g. the covid vaccines) are good at protecting against serious (and fatal) cases. They "jump start" the body's immune response so it can get a head start on battling the virus.

Well it has happened to many people after getting the vaccinations. I was thankful I had the shots as the covid did not affect my lungs so I did not end up on a respirator considering I have had a chronic lung disease most of my life. The vaccine does not stop you necessarily getting covid but you won’t perhaps get it as bad as you would have.
