Every night between 3-5 am. I cannot remember the last time I slept all night!

Nonetheless, sometimes I do have to nap in the afternoon, but I get up at 5am so it is understandable. Be part of the 5 O’clock Club, it’s great!

Generally from. 10pm to 5am, more or less and I do NOT watch the news
before bedtime. That would give me nightmares!

I see these comments about sleep. Is sleep delay, Circadian rhythm disorder, and Non-24 addressed? Thank you very much,

It went well. She prescribed Xanax with the hope that it might break the cycle, So far, I still cannot sleep.

Xanax is more for anxiety but can make some people fall asleep. What need is a sleeping medication, Ambiem, or something along those lines. Take 10m and you will be sleeping within 1/2 hour.

For me one of the side effects of ambien was sleep walking…scary…as one day found myself in tub. Please be careful.

I understand your frustration and can only hope that peace will come to you. After my son's suicide last year, this problem has worsened. Lying awake during the night makes for a very long day, especially if you live alone. Just the simple act of going to bed at night knowing you will wake increases anxiety, as you well know. The anticipation of what is ahead makes one want to avoid even trying to sleep. Doctors do not seem to understand the severity of this problem. Sleep deprivation has set me up for even more problems, and I have not been successful at finding a doctor who takes this problem seriously. Please post here if you find a way to alleviate this problem.

I’m so sorry for the lose of your son. The doctors I have seen either don’t believe me or just give me drugs.
I hope you find your answers.
