Undiagnosed Skin Condition

My husband has been suffering from some kind of skin problem for many months. He has been to see our primary care doctor and a dermatologist. The skin on his feet is cracked to the point of bleeding. The skin on his body is hypersensitive to scrapes. The worst is inside his mouth. He can't eat much of anything because of sores and sensitivity. I don't know what else to do. It is not getting any better. Any ideas of what to do next?

Do you or your husband keep a journal of the skin and mouth problems, triggers, what helps and what aggravates or causes a flare? This might help find a diagnosis with your doctor.

We haven't kept a journal, but thank you for the idea. We will start one.
