My husband has been taking tumeric for 3 months. Two masses have disapeared and two have shrunk. He also had pin point radiation . Hard to know if it helped or not. Will continue to take anyway.

Hi Marian, I take a turmeric supreme, extra strength ( maker, GAIA ), it is a natural herb, it has helped me and I also take 250mg. Magnesium with it. Ask you doctor if that is good for you?? Lacey
So does diet, play any part in autoimmune disease. My wife wants me to see a nutritionist who uses Leap (lifestyle , eating and performance. They use a MRT (mediator release test which is blood work. The whole deal will cost me close to 1000.00 this includes three meetings with a nutritionist to go over results and set up a plan. Good idea or not
oops, your right , I wrote that sushi has lots of iodine, I meant mercury, thanks for getting that out. Lacey
1,000 mg. turmeric plus 5 mg perperine, usually it comes together. It comesas a quite yellow pill oval form.
That’s what I take. I use Drs Best 1000 mg. Only because it was checked out by Consumer Labs.
Hi, there are so many different brands out there, do you see a big difference in your energy since you are taking them? I am still very tired ( most likely the after effects of chemo ) getting better though. Lacey
Hi I did not see a difference in my energy level. I did see a big difference in arthritis of my knees.
Thanks , I do not have any pain ( thank God ) , but I do get acid reflux, I don’t see the tumerick helping in that area, but I will keep using it, It will get better results the longer you use it.
It has to be together with piperine (5mg) it helps to absorve the turmeric.
Its a naturral anti inflamatory ise in Chinese medicine for over 300 years bioperene and piperine aids in absorption bioperine is black pepper !!all disease is an inflammatory response good luck !
I have backed off of some suplements but take tummeric everyday I have not been keeping up with my healthy diet and paying for it im swollen look like a toothpick with an olive on it asites no good! Gteat site I am on there often just so tired have to glance over it again thanks for your help well wishes Deena
Just read that 80 % of population is magnesium deficent? Found in spinach collard greens beet root ect I have malabsorption so I would need a natural capsul or liquid form? It keeps you regular
I have used turmeric but frankly I don’t see much change.
Actually if you can tolerate it swallow a couple peppercorns 2 or 3
I have Sjogren’s and Celiac and I was using turmeric with bioprine for awhile as I was told it was good for autoimmune diseases. I thought it was affecting my bowels: diarrhea, etc. Anyone else have this problem? Maybe I should to back to it to prove one way or another.
No not at all no side effects for me?
things change every day, chemo can have a different effect on anyone, so hang in there, your doctor should be able to tell you if there is a association there?? Lacy
Hi.. I started using it about 2 months ago. So far I have not noticed a lot of difference. Darlia
