for everyone on her my mom passed away July 4th 2 am and I was able to be by her side even at the end. I am grateful for this site as i didn't feel so alone during caregiving for her during her hospice period. it build a great relationship with my father and honestly i felt close to my mom at the end. I regret nothing now and can move on past the caregiver stage until i am needed again. I pray for everyone who is giving of themselves and going through loving a person with dementia and wish all of you peace, comfort, patience and understanding. while my heart is heavy from missing my mom i know she is happier with Jesus.

@buggirl55 I’m very sorry to hear that your mother passed away. I know how hard it has been for you. But, I also know that you did the very best that you could do, and your dad will always remember.

I am so sorry for your loss. You had a tough job. I think no one fully knows all that is involved as a caregiver.
I hope you feel good knowing what a tough job you had and loving your Mother.
My sympathy
