Terrible headache on right side of head.
Sometimes it feels like it is earache, toothache, hurts in different places on right side of head. Not migraines. Any other suggestions what might be causing this?

Thank you!
@beachlife67 I purchased the originial "McKenzie Cervical Roll" #703 OPTP.com or call 1-800-367-7393. I have spent $$ on others, this one works for me give support for your neck. No longer a.m. headacks. I wrap mine in a small down pillow or have put inside pillow case. Try it you will be happy. I also purchased their lumbar for my back when using computer or traveling. Posture
is important. I love their bool "Treat your own Neck by Robin McKenzie. Good Luck keep us posted if this helps. Thinking of you, certainly understand how difficult times can be with this
pain.
@beachlife67
Severe one-sided pain that shifts between head, ear, and teeth is most commonly linked to Trigeminal Neuralgia (electric, shock-like bursts triggered by touch/chewing), but can also be Cluster Headache (intense one-sided attacks with eye watering or nasal symptoms), Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction (jaw-related pain worse with chewing/clenching), Sinusitis (pressure with congestion and tooth pain), or a dental issue so if it’s new, severe, or recurring, get evaluated by a dentist or neurologist to pinpoint the cause.

1 Reaction@beachlife67 The original McKenzie Cervical Roll. OPTP.com or 1-800-367=7393. item #703.
Believe me I have spent $$ searching for correct pillow. I love this I wrap a small down pillow
around it, (softens ). I have read some folks put itside a pillow case. I also purchased the Lumbar
Roll I am conveinced our poor posture affects our Headacks, along with their books"Treat your own Neck" by Robin McKenzie. Best to you they have all help. This is going to sound crazy but
when my neck gers knots I use a broom handle roll up and down. (IT WORKS).
@suszy39
What pillow do you use? I’ve tried so many without success.
@podge The same happened to me. I have had headacks for years, about 16yrs ago they realized
I suffered from ON. One side of my neck, head, and eye, back of my head would be so painful.
In Jan 2026 I decided to takecharge of my problem, I began (as you did with certain exercises) I
found on U-Tube, they helped but until I realized my neck was the root of my problem I must
strengthen these muscles: #1 I replaced my down pillows with a Cervcial Log Pillow (game changer) no more a.m. headacks. # 2 I used elastic (yellow & red) bands: watch Occipital Neuraliga SNG tECHNIQUE By: ANNIE U tube she is great, slow claming. I do a few head movements one side to other (no stretches). Chin Tucks,and I do self massage (I ordered Magnesium Lotion- order amazon $11.00) its a little thick use a little water in palm of your hand. Watch Dr. Mantell He explains it so well. Be paitent with yourself, I also have a clincial massage once a month( they work on my muslces, shoulders, head neck). This is an extra item
I simply love before I begin I have myself a towel warmer: heat these up, place them on my neck before I begin, the muscles react much better. Good luck to all you fellow suffers. We hear your cry and feel your pain. Mine is so much better no flair ups since Dec 2025... last headack lasted three weeks. Gone

4 ReactionsSorry to hear what your going through as I have suffered from the same issues for the past 10 years and tried so many different drugs, scans until recently when I went to the doctors as I couldn’t cope anymore and this doctor who I’ve not seen before suggested I drop all the drugs and do neck exercises 3-4 times a day and wow! I’ve not had a migraine for the past 6 weeks, try it as it’s working for me hope it works for you
