Teen with short term paralysis, anxiety, headaches, menstrual issues

Is anyone aware of any studies for teens that have some form of paralysis that is not explainable? My daughter started having freezing spells where she is fully paralyzed in the 7th/8th grade with an increase in frequency up to 5 a day. Origianally diagonised as panic attacks. She was also diagnosed with anxiety. Concurrently she has heavy unpredictable menses as well as headaches. EEG's all came back normal with small blips but nothing that is related to epilepsy. Hormones have been checked, genetic testing for PPP disorder as well. Current medication is Zoloft, Topimax, Magnesium, Riboflavin and Birth Control.

Since being on topimax (8 weeks) we have moved to a spell every 5-10 days typically on days with a headache or extremely tired (she is a junior). I was speaking with a doctor friend who said Mayo was starting to research this non-epileptic activity with migraine, anxiety and issues with menstrual cycle.

I met another teen this past weekend that had the same thing going on and they could not find a diagnosis either. I can't imaging that we are the only ones but feeling like i am out in the ocean alone without a raft. I will say, I have been so lucky to have the doctors we have who have been so supportive in assisting with all my questions. Just here trying to find out if there is a community out there for us.

What specialist doctors are you currently working with?

Have you worked with a neurologist for MRI of brain, EMG/nerve conduction studies of upper and lower limbs, extensive bloodwork? Has your daughter had any severe illnesses/viruses? Has she been tested for viruses that affect the nervous system? Did she have the Covid shot/virus?
