I am writing about your sudden headaches. Have you had a MRI? Do they have a reason for your pain? Has there been diagnosis?

As @hopeful33250 and @jeans have mentioned, the best place to start is seeing a doctor who can accurately diagnosis the issue. It's important to see a doctor who can evaluate what type of testing might need to be done. They can work with you to understand your symptoms and present treatment options as well work with you to make lifestyle changes that may be able to help with reducing headache triggers.

It could be a migraine. Those are very painful, but the suddenness of it sounds different. When I get a migraine it starts slow and builds up to something terrible. Did you injure your head recently?
