Statin for abdominal

Posted by pmmoore @pmmoore, Jan 28 5:45pm

My dr wants me to start statin for a 2.6. Abdominal Arita that was found during ct scan for ibs. I don’t like the side effects. And can’t determine if this is really necessary.

Hi @pmmoore. I found an article that sheds a little light on why your cardiologist has suggested taking a statin with your recent diagnosis of Abdominal Arita.

This is a link to the Journal of the American Heart Association

Have you taken statins before and had negative side effects?
