Sorry to hear. How frustrating! How's your airway clearance?

Thanks scoop for asking. I thought I am doing a really good job about airway clearance. So right now my pulmonologist is waiting for sensitivity study, if it is the same staph as the last two times he thinks it is colonization rather than an infection. In that case, he doesn't treat it.

While we are on airway clearance...... a lot of time I feel very dry, when I feel very dry, it is hard to get things out? I normally have to take a break. Do you expereince that?

@wangling are you using 7% saline? if so, even with that are you feeling dry after nebulizing? do you use an Aerobika after nebulizing? I find that definitely works better for me than nebulizing and doing the Aerobika at the same time.

I do use 7% saline. I do feel dry sometimes, and feel tired afterwards, but not all the time. I use aerobika too. Recently I started using a vest, it doesn't seem to do anything, but I believe that it has to do something because there is a big business involved. I need to use all the tools available to prevent my exacerbations. I found during nebulizing, I could get most of my mucus out. But I never know for sure. That is why I get nervous when I feel my airways dry.
Because when that happens, it is hard to get anything out. Life is not that easy, but I am glad that I still can do most things I love.

Lung my allergist told me to nebulize 0.9 % saline if I feel dry. You can do it any time. I do it when needed before 7%.

Ask for a prescription, I forgot to add.
