I hope you can access this/ Bonnie Raitt won a Grammy for her song Just Like That, which tells a story of organ transplantation from donor family perspective. I find it to be so beautiful.

Did you know that David Cosby lived with a transplanted liver for nearly 28 years ? He died in January 2023. Considering his very liberal opinions & lifestyle with regard to booth & drugs it is a miracle that he made it into his eighties. It is difficult to imagine him as a responsible custodian of a gift as precious as a new liver.

You never know, do you, what another person goes through. I agree that a new liver is a precious gift, but I wouldn't want to be the one who makes the decision on who gets an organ.

Yay to David, that should give us all encouragement to see we have a lot of life to live.. I am a 2year LTP💚
The Yahoo article gives me even more encouragement and hope for all that r waiting for a TP/Donor. Agree I would not want to be the one making that decision either.
I 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 always for each and every TP patient and the donor family’s that have so graciously given us life.
