Social Security and transplants

I found out that social security will pay you a year before your transplant and a year after and it’s mandatory for disability benefits, I was never told that and applied awhile ago they strictly go by your medical records not your income, check into it make an appointment at your local office well worth the time, this goes for any transplants

Are you already on Social Security? What state are you in.
I’m not on Social Security but California Disability pays almost double what Social Security pays.

I’m not collecting social security yet but this pays full disability for 2 years but my case is just for this I’m going to try to apply for full disability after I injury case I’m in is finalized, make an appointment you should do it in person they will fill all the paperwork for you, they only use your medical records only so fraud is impossible, I don’t recommend online or by phone walk in and do it face to face

What is meant by social security will pay ? Doesn't your insurance pay?

My health insurance paid all my hospital bills this pays for being disabled and not being able to work it’s only for 2 years you can apply for disability afterwards which I’m doing, this is through ss and I’m not sure if California pays for anything

California doesn’t pay for this only social security does they don’t have this program and it takes only medical records to qualify only that’s it talk to a real in person agent at any office and make an appointment

Is there a name for this program.

Call your local social security office and make an appointment that’s the name of it or look it up online actually talk to a real person is the best way truthfully and it mandatory you only qualify by your medical records that they will get, their team does the research by you releasing your records, you can’t scam this program only for real transplant patients only

Im receiving SSDI & really double in Cali? Yes everything in California is double probably cost more to live there which did for only 41/2 years. Couldn't afford so came back home in Arizona

Not understanding this post. After a transplant one can return to work within a few weeks! Why would disability be needed, unless there are complications?
