Side effects of Eylea injections
I had one injection of a drug called Eylea in my eye which was 95 percent cured from using Avastan. My eye went back down to 30 percent with this new drug to the point where my sight is darkened and blurry. Has anyone had this problem after trying the drug Eyelina? Did you get your sight back?

I have been having injections of Avastin, and Vabysmo for wet Macular degneration, since 2018. I get the injection every 5 to 6 weeks. I have only had a blood shot eye twice. I feel like both of those time I moved my eye just a fraction, and that is what cause the blood shot issue. And both times it took at least 2 weeks for it to clear up. My doctor has a very calming mannerism, and most times I am very relaxed, but I have been nervous a few times, and that may cause me to move my eye, during the procedure. I know it is very important not to move.
I have been having Avastin injections for more than 10 years for a leak in my left eye. 6 months ago my Dr. suggested I change over to Eyelea injections as they were more sanitary; the syringe was created and filled with the medicine in one place then sent to the office, no middle man. I agreed even though the cost increased by around $2000.00. The first injection made me feel very strange and I lost my sight, almost completely, for a minute or two. I have been also suffering with visual migraines more since starting the Eyelea. Since my last injection I have had 8 migraines. My Dr. says he has never heard of anyone else getting migraines from the injections. Is this a coincidence or could the injections be causing the migraines? My vision is frustrating because of all the floaters...what's worse, many floaters which inhibits my vision, or the leak?
I have been receiving Avastin injections for 12 years for retinopathy. When I asked my dr about Eylea he told me to stop watching TV! Avastin has done the job and done it well. I’m not switching unless it’s necessary. Best of luck.
