@pinkpam,
I hope at you got some relief. While reading about your Shingles experience, I began to wonder whether transplant patients can take longer to get over it. I have not had shingles, but whenever I have a health issue like a cut, abrasion, etc, it takes me longer to heal than is suggested. Do you ever experience that? I wonder if that could be contributing to your prolonged rash and pain?

How was your meeting with the dermatologist last week? Did you get any answers to your question about being over the Shingles? Did you learn how that can be decided?

@pinkpam, I've seen you in some other transplant discussions, but I want to drop in this Shingles discussion to check in on you since 3 weeks have passed since you last posted here.
Did the meds that you were taking give you relief from your pain? Are you over the discomforts of Shingles? Is there any kind of follow-up that you will need due to your transplant status?

Hi Rosemary, So nice of you to check in - The rash is gone so that is good. The pain is not as bad but still have it - a skewer going from the back to the front is rather interesting - - received my 4th vaccine on Tuesday and the sore arm is better also. I was glad for a sore arm -I hope that means I'm making antibodies. Thank you for all you do 🙂
