Share your test results (if you'd like)
I thought it might be helpful to have a thread dedicated to sharing routine test results, good or not-so-good. My intention is just to provide a place for sharing, support, and encouragement, not for debating tests and treatments
I'll start. I've been at stage 4b oligometastatic for over 2½ years, and last Friday I did my routine 12-week bloodwork. My PSA remains below 0.01 (undetectable), Orgovyx and Erleada are holding my testosterone at 0.2, and the other tests are in normal ranges, except for those related to iron, which are slightly low.
Overall, it was a banner day! 🎊 I always treat myself to a masala chai at the little Indian café across the street while I'm waiting for my results to pop.
Do you have any recent test results you'd like to share?

6 ReactionsPSA test 4 months after RARP just came in - < 0.01. We are happy to see those numbers. Will continue regular testing. Thank you all for the support and discussions that helped in our decisions for RARP and the aftercare, and the ongoing discussions helping with my post-RARP issues. Best to all.

The three pertinent dates:
2021-02: RALP
2021-10: Begin ADT
2024-04: End ADT

Thanks for sharing. Where do you go from here? My doc and others here said we never really leave this PC train. I have started a graph to track my regular tests too. Like you, I was Gleason 9, and higher risk with cribriform. Hope for the best, but research and plan for whatever may cross our tracks.

1 ReactionTake a rocket scientist to figure out what those numbers mean.
@readandlearn Why logarithmic rather than linear? That really exaggerates the rise after the end of ADT.

3 Reactions@davederousseau "Where do you go from here?"
My oncologist is waiting for my PSA to rise to 0.20 (technically a BCR), where we will probably do another PET scan.
@asolidrock
Actually, it takes 12 years of PCa snd condenses it down to one picture.
My medical team and I use it often when discussing my clinical history and what it means to our discussion about current treatment choices.
The data by itself is overhearing but the ability to inform discussion is invaluable.
