Anyone have success with red light therapy for radiation effects?
I've read about it and considering trying it. Please post if you've used it for your H and N cancer healing and or radiation fibrosis.
Thank you,
Sandy

I am looking for red light treatment for my husband with 15 year old fibrosis from radiation in his neck. Did you ever try it?
I’m using a high quality handheld red light device at home 4 times a week on my neck. I had a neck dissection and radiation 3 years ago. I experience ongoing mild to moderate lymphedema and some radiation fibrosis. It seems to help. I would say it offers some temporary relief and from what I’ve read may provide a cumulative long term benefit. I use it in conjunction with self massage and a vibration plate to help with lymphatic drainage.

3 Reactions@smittyfromcuse Can you share the brand and where you purchased it? I'd like to try it but not spend a lot trying it out. I see a number of them on Amazon but I have no way of knowing their quality. I'm so glad its working for you.
@sandy8043 The brand name is Joovv. I bought the small hand held device. It was expensive but I split it into 3 payments and used some of my HSA funds. It has medical grade LEDs and I can tell the difference between it and the red light sauna my gym has with inferior lights.
