Yes I had the surgery 2 weeks ago and so far very successful. I had very little pain and stayed 2 days in the hospital. Care was fantastic and so far so good.

What type of surgery? And does it repair or does it involve only a colostomy? My surgeon has told me that rectal prolapse surgery makes one incontinent. Can anyone explain their surgeries and the result?

I had robotic surgery done in April it was very very successful. It was easy and I am doing all the activities that I did before. I kept putting it off for 3 years and so sorry that I waited so long. Good luck

1 ReactionIt depends on what grade your prolapse is. I highly recommend you see a physio that specializes in prolapse and ask if it would help.
I would also love more info on this chair. Can it be purchased in the U.S? How does it work?
My prolapse is full on as bad as it gets and getting worse. I’m going to do more research.
