Posted by baz @baz, Jul 5, 2022

I need to finally address my rectal prolapse. What are my options? Anyone else with this problem?
Thank you.

That study is 4 years old. It worked for me. Initially when it came out it in 2019 it had poor reviews but it has now been improved.

Thank you for that. Four years and good improvement is good enough for me. Thank you so so much. If not for you I would not have known.

I have rectal prolapse and I am considering to have a Vental mesh retopexy it’s done with Roboti surgery.
I am 91 years old but in good health. Curious if anyone has gone through this surgery
Thanks

It depends on what grade your prolapse is. I highly recommend you see a physio that specializes in prolapse and ask if it would help.

I would also love more info on this chair. Can it be purchased in the U.S? How does it work?

My prolapse is full on as bad as it gets and getting worse. I’m going to do more research.

Yes I had the surgery 2 weeks ago and so far very successful. I had very little pain and stayed 2 days in the hospital. Care was fantastic and so far so good.
If anyone wants any feedback do not hesitate to ask me.

Hi- I’m about to have rectal and bladder surgery, laparoscopic and robotic respectively. I would so appreciate any details you could give me about your procedure, and when you had it done. Tks in advance!

What type of surgery? And does it repair or does it involve only a colostomy? My surgeon has told me that rectal prolapse surgery makes one incontinent. Can anyone explain their surgeries and the result?

I had robotic surgery done in April it was very very successful. It was easy and I am doing all the activities that I did before. I kept putting it off for 3 years and so sorry that I waited so long. Good luck

I did lots of research for 3 years and decided on robotic surgery in New York City and it was very successful.

What was the name of your surgery and who performed and where? Mine is from anal cancer and radiation and quite severe. I really want to know where I can go to get help.
