Anyone treated with Eye90 Radioactive Microspheres for Liver Cancer?

Posted by ewasileski0728 @ewasileski0728, Dec 29, 2025

Has anyone participated in the EYE 90 also known as ABK clinical research study and received radioactive microspheres to destroy the cancer cells in the liver? Was it successful? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated as my husband is scheduled for this procedure in January!

What are the advantages of eye90 vs y90? I’ve received y90- it was partially successful but I’m now scheduled for chemo embolization due to the limited success of the y90

@richinbh2026, that is a good question for your oncologist. Eye90 and Y90 (Yttrium-90) both refer to radioactive microsphere therapy (radioembolization) to treat unresectable liver tumors. My understanding is that Eye90 is the "next generation" of Y-90. It is currently in clinical trials and researchers are hopeful that it will be an improved therapy.

You might ask if a clinical trial would be an option for you.
