I just finished a week full of appointments in Mayo. I am post covid 10 months with pulmonary "Covid" fibrosis. I am scheduled for 2 Post COVID Treatment Programs this week and am unsure what they will entail? Does anyone know?

Hi @tknipp, good question. When you first come to Mayo Clinic’s Post COVID 19 Care Clinic, you begin by meeting with a provider who completes a thorough evaluation, including discussing your medical history and current symptoms, and doing a physical examination. We use the information learned during the evaluation to help develop a personal treatment plan.
Have you already done that with the full week of appointments you just had? May I ask which Mayo location you are at?
Yes, I have done all of that and had an appointment with the nurse about PCCOC. I went to Rochester MN. Thank you so much for the info!
I was told that I could not make an appt at this time for lupus/Ms symptoms. I have been going back snd forth to pcp, neurologist, retina specialist and others bit am still suffering from pain and numbness in back legs and feet .
I would like to get an appt at Mayo to try and get an answer

Hi Shirley, To make an appointment at Mayo Clinic, you can self-refer (submit the appointment request yourself) or ask your physician to make a referral. Please see this webpage for contact information and frequently asked questions http://mayocl.in/1mtmR63
Hi Tknipp, how are you doing?
Here's a video with Dr. Ganesh about the PCCOC (Post-COVID Care Clinic Treatment Program)
I suspect the nurse already shared this with you. Have you started the program now?
No I hadn't seen the video. Very informative! I met with a nurse 2 days ago and start the two classes next week!
Here's more information about what you can expect at the classes next week and beyond.
You will take part in 2 small group sessions virtually with a nurse, healthy living program staff, and other participants who have post-COVID syndrome. There are 4 hour-long sessions on each day. You'll learn about post-COVID syndrome and how to manage symptoms, as well as be able to share your experiences with each other.
At the end of the 2 days, you will be connected with a Wellness Coach for one-on-one coaching sessions for 12 weeks. A nurse will also stay connected with you for virtual follow up visits alongside the coaching sessions.
I'll be very interested to hear your experiences with the program. I hope you'll return to tell others. Please let fellow participants know that they can also continue to connect with you and others here on Mayo Clinic Connect's Post-COVID Recovery support group.
What are the requirements for getting an appt at post COVID clinic? Specifically neurological issues?
@srmorrison you will notice that I have moved your post into an existing discussion on Mayo Clinic's Post-Covid Treatment Program so you may connect with other members interested in the program as well such as @tknipp
The link below should provide you with a wealth of information on the program/clinic and what you can expect.
