Post Ascending Aortic Aneurysm surgery, did anyone do yoga breathing?

Hey. So I am now 3.5 months post op David proceedure and started getting back into the swing of exercise things slowly. I notice I can feel my new root and ascending Aorta sometimes. It was all the time the first few weeks post surgery but now it has died down.

Except for 4/4/4 breathing and primarily on the inhale. When I take a deep breath filling belly and lungs, I am almost every time feel my new Aorta and find it weird. I assume once I get further along it might go away but wonder if this is due to the new Aorta properties of staying the same size always.

Has anyone else experience this?

Hi, I’m my case after my surgery (OH with a Dacron graft in my ascending aorta) for a while I could “hear” my heart beat, especially if I was in a very quiet place (bathroom, etc). Very weird feeling.

I asked my cardiologist and he told me that was normal in a lot of people, as blood flows through the graft the new material vibrates differently from the natural tissue and that change in vibration frequency can be felt/ “heard”, it goes away with time, months later I stopped hearing it.
