@lisalucier, Thanks for the response and the link. Phenibut is available as a "supplement" from a well-known on-line vitamin site, so importing it is not in question. And, why would it be different than many of the other supplements sold here that have no FDA restrictions?
What I'm concerned about is it's safety and effectiveness, thus asking the membership here about their experience.
Any thoughts or comments from anyone is appreciated.

It's important to note that phenibut is not an FDA-approved medication and has no clinical use in the U.S. Although not approved in the U.S., phenibut is available as a supplement from many online stores and e-commerce sites. However, this does not mean it is legal online. This FDA article explains the black, white and grey area of ordering drugs and supplements online.
