Has anyone dealt with Peyronie's successfully? What helped?
I am 67 yo with chronic stage Peyronies which presents as a significant (60°?) upward curve during Viagra induced erections. Less pronounced with non Viagra erections but more difficult to achieve and maintain without meds. Causes painful intercourse with wife but as she is several years older than I, a straight erection would most likely cause pain as well so we use other options. Fortunately, I have zero pain and orgasms are still attainable and enjoyable for us both. Has anyone else dealt with Peyronies successfully and if so, what methods did you use? I’ve read several online comments from men who have used Xiaflex but that seems to provide 50% improvement if any.

I live about 200 miles from Rochester and was being treated at the Mayo Clinic for an enlarged prostate so I also sought treatment for Peyronie's disease. I was very impressed with the way that the clinic screened me for the condition, took measurements, and offered different treatment options. The RestoreX device being the least invasive. I purchased the device at the Mayo Clinic Pharmacy. Insurance did not cover the cost. It cost about $525. For me it has been well worth it. I also have receive excellent customer service from RestoreX when I called them for spare parts and advice on proper use of the device.
@kocour Thank you for responding. Prostate and Peyronies? Things we never thought about as teens. I’m considering purchasing a RestoreX but as my wife is several years older than I and finds sexual penetration painful, having a straighter penis would not change my sex life so I’m still undecided. Ah well. Things can always be worse.
@kocour Thanks for sharing your Restorex experience. It takes months of regular use for results. Stick with it as will I.
My curve was 20-30 degrees, so less significant. But I fully straightened it by using a vacuum device for 20-30 minutes 3x a week. My urologist said it would not work, but he was wrong.
