Does anyone know what actually works for the rash on the head, face, chest and back?

My husband has been on it 53 days now and the skin rash is the only side effect he’s currently experiencing. The Pancreatic cancer had metastasized in June to his lymph nodes in his neck that were large and very tender to the touch. Since he’s been on the medication the lymph nodes have gone down, he went from taking oxycodone to extra strength Tylenol and now NOTHING! We’ll take THAT!!!!!

@aparrish01 That's great. Good for you folks. That is inspiring. If you could recommend one or two things to others on the treatment to help manage their side effects, what may they be?

He is the 1st patient that his Dermatologist has treated under this new medication so at this point he is a guinea pig! He’s using Triamcinolone 0.025 % for chest and back and also Ivermectin Cream 1%. Scalp solution is Clobetasol Propionate Topicsl Solution, USP 0.05 %. Pimecrolimus Cream 1% for his face. For all over the body wash Ketoconazole 2% Sha Anip. LACROCHE-POSAY has partnered with Revolution Medicine the Company that came up with Rasonque and a pharmaceutical Rep at the cancer center here said the gentle foaming cleansing oil, triple moisturizing cream and their Sunscreen. So far everything seems to be helping. I hope this information helps.

@casey1959 I think you can be glad if your husband is prescribed this medication! Yes, there are side effects, but I find them less onerous than those with chemo. We thank God that this medication became available just when I needed it! Wishing you both well with whatever treatment your husband undergoes!

My husband has been taking Rasonque since September 8. He has the rash, which started a few days ago, which is being managed with the prescribed medication and creams. However, he is extremely tired. Is anyone experiencing extreme fatigue?

Good luck to all on this Rasonque journey.

@aparrish01 Thank you for the information. As this is a newly FDA approved treatment, every little bit helps. Please keep us posted on his progress. Thanks again!

@nbcesq Thanks for the feedback and words of encouragement. If I recall correctly, you started your Daraxonrasib around the 4th of July correct? How have you been feeling overall since you started?

@aparrish01 I've read this drug is for advanced Pancreatic cancer with spreading. That a a patient post Whipple who's had successful tumor removal wouldn't benefit from it. Anyone have thoughts or input.

I too feel extremely tired. Some tiredness due to leg spasms & cramps starting in the afternoon & sometimes going until 3 am!
