PACs,pvcs

I asked this once before with little comments. Has anyone tried hypnosis so you don’t feel the PVCs or PACs?

I have no idea if this will help you but I had relentless PACs, SVTs and finally I read about Taurine. In combination with magnesium glycinate and Ubiquinol mine stopped within a few days. I can’t swear to it but I believe it was the taurine as I had been taking the magnesium for years and CoQ10, which is what Ubiquinol is, basically. It may have been the synergistic combo but I’ve read that taurine can help electrical heart issues. My primary was very excited about it. My cardiologist’s NP didn’t seem to care.

What cappcoach is stating here is the exact supplement I take. I just started the taurine so not sure about the combination yet. I do think I have less but my next monitor check of my AICD/Pacemaker will determine if PVCs went down.

FYI: The magnesium was recommended by me EP. Co-Q-10 by my heart failure doctor, and the taurine by MCC posters. What I did was check with both my heart failure doctor and my EP if okay to take the taurine. They both said would not interfere with present medications and would be okay to take.

I know we all want to take something to reduce this problem but check with your doctors as we are all on different medications and what maybe okay for one may not be with another.

Kaneka is the leading source of Ubiquinol version of CoQ10 was developed in Japan not China.
Kaneka has a 47 acre campus industrial center in Texas and probably makes a lot of their Ubiquinol there. When looking at labels on all brands of Ubiquinol many if not most of them used the trade mark Kaneka brand.
It is scientifically well established that Ubiquinol is far more bioavailable/bioactive version of CoQ10 than Ubiquinone CoQ10. CoQ10 is regenerative in humans (as well as many other animals) and when we age we loose the ability to regenerate ubiquinone into the bioactive form ubiquinol. https://ubiquinol.org/clinical-studies

@713j I am finding out more and more about Ubiquinol. If my information is correct only in Japan is the Ubiquinol manufacture. A lot of supply problems here and of course the higher cost with only one manufacturer. Do you know if manufacture by anyone else?

No , I take qunol brand of mega ubiquinol. Occasional on sale on amazon for $28.00. But it has polysorbate 80 which I may not take anymore. The calm heart supplement I’m taking has 30mg. but it’s the ubiquinone form. So I’ll give it a try for awhile having 30 days to get a refund.

There are other brands that claim it they are providing ubiquinol but they are not using Kaneka. Kaneka developed a method using fermented Coq10 to produce ubiquinol CoQ10 and they have the science to prove it. I have seen other products claiming to be ubiquinol but nothing to prove it is ubiquinol. That is why there are 200 brands using Kaneka ubiquinol. They have the Kaneka on their label proving it. I would also caution to look carefully at any ingredients especially emulsifiers like carrageenan and polysorbate 80 and others that are inflammatory and possibly contribute to GI problems and cancer. This article on Medscape is one to read.
"Are Food Emulsifiers Associated With Increased Cancer Risk?"
or this one "Are emulsifiers harming your patients' health?"

What brand do you use? You have probably done the research on ubiquinol and have knowledge on this item.

Right now I moved to Life Extension Super Ubiquinol CoQ10 100 Mg with Enhanced Mitochondrial Support. Note Life Extension has 3 versions of Ubiquinol all using Kaneka as the a base Ubiquinol but 2 versions have added products to them
This product hasUbiquinol (as Kaneka Ubiquinol™) 100 mg and PrimaVie© Shilajit fulvic acid complex 100 mg. Shilajit is a safe, fluvic mineral complex exudate that is common to Ayurvedic medicine and is composed of fulvic acids, dibenzo-α-pyrones, proteins, and minerals. This is to provide additional help for muscle fatigue and strength. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6364418/
I also use their Super Ubiquinol CoQ10 100 Mg which is just Ubiquinol.
Combined I take 600 mg of Ubiquinol a day.

72 yo male in very good health. Exercise at least an hour per day - usually more. Had 2 ablations for PVCs. After 2nd ablation burden was almost 50%. Taking Valsartan and diltiazem (bp) and Flecainide 100mg x2/day. I get pretty good relief for several hours per day but usually have breakthrough palpitations by early afternoon. I usually get some relief by taking an afternoon walk of 2-3 miles. EP has suggested amioradone 200 mg/day. Have not started amio yet because I’m concerned about side effects. At wits end - any thoughts or suggestions?

I’ve started to take heart calm by Vital Biologics. You may want to look this up and review. I’ve only been on this a day so we’ll see. Seemed to have reduced the forcefulness of the PVCs.

Thanks. I’m typically skeptical about alternatives and supplements but at this point I’ll try anything. Ordered 30 days Heart Calm today. Will follow up in the next days and weeks.
