Anyone know about daridorexant (Quviviq) for insomnia?

I just very recently read about a new insomnia sleep medication by the company Idorsia. It is QUVIVIQ( daridorexant). I asked my PCP about it and he had not heard of it but did find it through his resources. Has anyone had any experience with this new drug? Also wondering, since it is new or relatively new whether most insurances will pay for it.

I just started quviviq 25mg. 6 weeks ago, switching from Trazadone 75mg, which got me only 5 hours sleep. I like it, and I can go back. to sleep even after getting up 1-2 times. Does anyone have experience with 50mg of quviviq?

Yes I have been on Quviviq 50mg for 6 months and find it fantastic. I nearly always get 8 hours even though I always wake 2 or 3 times. Can get back to sleep easily which had always been my insomnia issue. Highly recommend it.
