My wife has Parkinson’s disease. Can she participate in a research?
Is there a Mayo number to call for my wife(has Parkinson’s) to participate in a research study for stem cell therapy?

No, I'm sorry but I don't see that reply about your wife's onset with PD. If you could post that again, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks for the additional information, @tsch. I'll have to look this up and see what I can find.
My wife was first diagnosed in Dec 21 with early stage PD. Feb 24/22, she was mistakenly given the contraindicated drug metapropchlomide to treat her nausea, while doing tests in hospital here in BC.
She quickly(within minutes) crashed, resulting in loss of mobility, speech and swallowing. Then dual diagnosed with prescription drug induced Parkinsonism with underlying PD(now stage 5). To this date, speeech, mobility swallowing and pain has not improved with current medications and physio. Psibicylin has improved her pain somewhat. We are seeking an opportunity to be part of a stem cell research program as she remains, emotionally and physically strong and determined.

Yes she can participate.
Are there any Parkinson’s stem cell research studies
in progress now at Mayo or elsewhere?
