Hi I am jia, I was Diagnosis of stage 4 lung cancer 3 yeas ago. I am in the treatment of IMpower 150 now at UCSF California. We want to move to
Florida, but don’t know if Mayo Clinic at Jacksonville have this treatment? Thanks every one!🙏
Hi Merry, thanks you very much for your reply! IMpower 150 is 4 drugs(2 chemo, 2 immunotherapy) infusion at once for 4 rounds, then 2 immunotherapy for Maintenance treatment. I am in maintenance treatment know. The 4 drugs are: Paclitaxel; Carboplatin; Atezolizumob; Bevacizumab. I need a infusion every 3 weeks. Many thanks!

Hi his,
I go to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville and am currently on one of your maintenance drugs, Tencentriq. I am sure if you called the main number and asked for the Oncology Dept, a nurse could advise you. My oncologist is running quite a few trials at Mayo!

Hi Jia, I live in St. Augustine. I'm sorry I can't answer your specific question about your treatment options, but I can tell you that Mayo Jacksonville is outstanding. Before we moved here, we were in Boston and used Mass General. I despaired of finding that same quality of medical care, so I was doubly delighted when I found Mayo here. I have so much confidence in every single person I've worked with. I think @seaspray – gave you the best advice suggesting a call to the oncology department. I see that you planned to make that call. Fingers crossed that it works out.
BTW, I think you and your husband are going to love Palm Coast. Our favorite Italian restaurant is there in the European Village. It's called La Piazza. If you like Italian, don't miss it! Also, my favorite quilt shop is there. Best of luck continuing your treatment at Mayo Jax – and with the move.
Hi @jiatennis, I extend my welcome to you as well. You'll note that I changed the title of your discussion to be more specific to your question. I agree with @seaspray to contact Mayo directly. Here is more info about Lung Cancer Care at Mayo Clinic

I'm also tagging @burrkay on this discussion as he and his wife, who has stage 4 lung cancer, also go to Mayo, Jacksonville.
Jia, is this treatment a maintenance treatment? In other words, you continue to take it as long as you tolerate it well?

@jiatennis– Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. I'd like to invite @debbraw, who lives in Florida to answer this. I live in New England and use MGH for my treatments. Will you tell me more about this treatment. I am not familiar with it at all.
