Long Covid Fatigue - Exhausting Physically and Mentally
It’s been 14mo. Dealing with Fatigue and migraines. Daily naps help but looking for an explanation on what is going on in my body. Up til now all the Dr. Said it was too early to tell. Today I read The NY Times article’ How Long Covid Exhausts the Body’ by Josh Keller (https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2022/02/19/science/long-covid-causes.html) and for the first time got some explanations on what maybe causing this. Although it is only the beginning of understanding what this virus is capable of, at least it is a start. Very insightful!! Worth reading.

I hear you. Me too.
Thank you! I will bring this up to my doctor. As with MANY things, this was not discussed with me and no one seemed to no why the folate was so high and never mentioned that it could mask a B12 deficiency. I appreciate you.
I hope I helped and that it is accepted by your doctor. Mine cardiologist wants to know what I take, when and how much. He has approved them per my bloodwork, and says any excess is excreted.
I don't include vitamin A since there is plenty from food and it does more harm than good.
If and when will it end?

I also take 50,000 IU's of Vitamin D3 every week (well I forget sometimes.)
I ponder that too, actually. I have to keep some hope but I try so hard to stay in the present. It is difficult. I know that it has millions of lives upside down. I hang on, just for today.
That seems high. I take 5,000 daily because my level was extremely low. I will soon reach optimal levels and then he'll probably reduce the dose or have me take it on alternate days.
It’s getting a consistently losing battle. Going to look for tomorrow an MD in my area (Tampa/St. Petersburg.

Sounds like a goal I need to pursue! 🤞🏻
Thanks very much for sharing this good information. I've been dealing with similar symptoms and more for a year now. Haven't tried too many suggestions yet, but hoping to get more approved by my new primary care physician. Best of luck to both of us!
