Long Covid come and go or ongoing
I believe my long Covid began about 2 months ago with what I thought was a stomach virus. It lasted about 3-4 days then started feeling better. A few weeks later same thing, and a few weeks later (currently), I’m on day 4 of same (exhausted, body aches, tinnitus, nausea and hunger). In between episodes have dizziness and weight loss).
Hopefully it stays intermittent, as at least I have some relatively healthy times, but not real confident after reading posts.
Has anyone on here “only” had long Covid for months instead of years and finally recover.
I’m at the beginning and not looking forward to what May be ahead.

Hope we both say goodbye to it soon!
I’ve had episodes of shortness of breath and tachycardia for about 3 months post COVID. Pulmonary Function test normal. Heart rate is usually 72 but now can go up to 120 or 130 after walking my dog. I’m not sure what is causing this but have never had anything like this after what I consider minimal exertion.
I am 78 years old and got Covid mid November and was very sick for 3 full days, didn’t eat and had a high fever and just in LaLa land. The 4th day my husband took me to Mayo Clinic ER and they couldn’t give me the medication to help because I take Eliquis. I did start feeling better a little every day and felt pretty good two weeks later. The only issue that continues is I have stomach issues. I have always had a strong stomach. I could eat spicy, no heart burn or nausea. Now I have to be careful what I eat and the bloating and heart burn is painful. I am hoping it goes away soon but seems to be part of my life today.
mom got covid March 2000 (she's now 92), and that is what she was left with also… Severe bloating / etc. in the morning after waking and after eating. Do you feel like vomiting for a period of time after eating?
Yes, I vomited on my 5th and 6th day of Covid and have continued to be nauseated after I eat. There is a weird fullness and bloating in my stomach during and after the Covid Episode. Yes, I feel like I am going to vomit if I eat a big meal. So I am careful..I know it is related to Covid because as I mentioned above I have always had a strong stomach and hadn’t vomited for maybe 40 years or more and vomited 6 times during the covid episode…Mayo Clinic ER Said vomiting is one of the recognized issues with during a Covid episode. I am hoping it goes away soon…otherwise I feel ok.
Do you take anything that helps avid the bloating and vomiting? My mom has Alzheimers and also takes Eliquis. She has a hard time communicating symptoms, but definitely says she feels like throwing up and we can hear the burping immediately after eating. She also feels bad when she wakes up. But we have noticed she experiences the stomach symptoms more in he a.m and after lunch than after dinner. When we first got covid back in March 2000, stomach issues were not listed. Of course testing was not being given. My mom was only tested because she spiked a 102feverand giver her age was admitted to hospital…In terms of rehab – worse thing that could have happened – but that's another story. Now we are hoping too help her avoid the daily stomach discomfort she feels after easting…
