Long Covid come and go or ongoing

Posted by jslgolf13 @jslgolf13, Nov 27, 2022

I believe my long Covid began about 2 months ago with what I thought was a stomach virus. It lasted about 3-4 days then started feeling better. A few weeks later same thing, and a few weeks later (currently), I’m on day 4 of same (exhausted, body aches, tinnitus, nausea and hunger). In between episodes have dizziness and weight loss).

Hopefully it stays intermittent, as at least I have some relatively healthy times, but not real confident after reading posts.

Has anyone on here “only” had long Covid for months instead of years and finally recover.

I’m at the beginning and not looking forward to what May be ahead.

Had long gut covid for three seasons over a 6 week period.

Taking prebiotic via Activia yogurt AM and PM which has reduced it to occasional cramping. Had bloating, watery diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain and lost 10 lb. Nasty.

Had Covid the end of October. Still feel tired and out of energy at times. Last eeek got my Covid booster(#3).
Each day seems different and a little better than the tired feeling I had before.
Good luck to you.

Mine definitely comes and goes. It has become more of an autoimmune reaction to anything I am exposed to. It last a week or so then goes away. I am over 6 months out.

My symptoms 100% fluctuate with my menstrual cycle.

Regarding duration... the theory of most of the researchers I follow is that it's easier to reverse the earlier people try treatments. I'm just past 6 mo which is apparently a turning point . 🙁

I also had covid that last week of October, 2022. I have good days , which means I have energy about 4-6 hours, and then I’m shot (back to the couch) the rest of the day. I have other days when I just have no energy. I usually feel it coming on by breaking out in a sweat, my doctor said there’s nothing I can do but wait it out.

I've had Long-Covid for over a year. A better description is an "ebb and flow" of the severity of the symptoms.

My primary symptom is fatigue—meaning that my muscles hurt. My muscles will feel like I did a long work-out even though I didn't. If I do work my muscles it is worse.

Take advantage (enjoy) the times when it's better, and don't overdo anything. Get the rest you need when it's worse. It gradually gets better. I'm praying for us. We'll beat this thing!

I recently found that Manuka honey is helpful for IBS symptoms, a spoon full 3 times a day.

Had Covid end of Oct., still have days when I tire easily. Not sure how long this will last (as is my PCP).
I want to travel (ship or air) after the holidays, but am concerned about being around others who may not be vaccinated. Am I being paranoid about this, or just being careful.
Be safe, happy holidays.

I’ve had really bad last couple of weeks with brain fog. Don’t know if it’s just a cycle or not.

I’ve had 1-3 days feeling better, meaning reduced head noises/sensations and fatigue. Unfortunately, the extreme fatigue and head symptoms, brain fog, come back. Sadistic virus. In month 9. Still hopeful we will all get through this.
Peace.
