Hello @debraann, sorry to hear that you need a lobectomy. Is the surgery in response to a lung cancer?
If yes, join us in the lung cancer group, where you'll find many members that have had a variety of lung surgeries.

Welcome @zewducrawn, Mayo Connect is a group of patients that can offer their own experience. We are not medical experts or staff. Coughing after two years has to be difficult for you. Have you had a scan of your lungs recently, or asked your doctor about the cough?

@mypinkheels25, I hope the surgery went well. It can take some time to heal. Have you asked your surgeon's office if this is normal at this point in time post-surgery? A week of that, can't be easy. If the blood is ever bright red, consider an emergency department visit.
Are you still looking at radiation? or now that you had the surgery, are you done with treatments?
