levels still in normal range but lowered a lot within 2 months
hi !! for reference about myself i'm a 19 year old female, 5'1" 🙂
i recently went in for a bloodtest after i've been bruising a lot and experiencing a lot of joint pains all around my body which lead to the doctor ordering a few blood tests that i just went in to get today (results came in a couple hours ago!)
i had an ER scare just a bit over a couple months ago (january 29th) for severe heart palpitations where i had also gotten my bloodwork done and all of my results seemed to be following a consistent trend of steadily rising if anything
my results came back today still in the normal range for my age; all near the exact middle if anything, spare my RDW, which is dangerously close to dropping below the normal range
( WBC dropped from 9.3 to 8.3, MCHC dropped from 33.3 to 31.9, and so forth )
i don't usually go outside much if at all outside of a few times a month and haven't been able to afford any protein drinks as much lately but i didn't think it'd drop so much within 2 months,,
not trying to get a full diagnosis or anything of course - and discussing this with a couple doctors in the coming days! just wanted to ask if anyone else has dealt with similar in terms of levels being different especially to possibly alleviate some anxieties since i do tend to fear the worst in some things and i know that thinking of that matter doesn't help the most either sometimes 🙂

Hi, although your WBC could show an infection, I would suggest you do some slow daily exercise to get out the house. It will help you to emotionally feel better. Walk around the block, go to a local swimming pool and do some slow exercises. I find when I feel really awful like recently, it was suspected I had Infective Endocarditis again, I thought I could either lie around moping or get up and do things. I have a personal motto, get up, get dressed, and get going. This helps me. I am having a mitral valve replacement later this month. I would just like to encourage you. Consult with your doctors.
