Lack of blood flow to the arteries of the brain causing Dizziness

Posted by slg @slg, May 9, 2024

My brain and eyes don't work together. I'm dizzy most of the time. I was told I don't get enough blood flow to the arteries of the brain. No tumors or leisons. MRI was 2 years ago, maybe time for another.

I have a condition called OCHOS in which the arterioles (next level down from the arteries) contract abnormally and don’t let enough blood into the brain.

The full name is orthostatic cerebral hypoperfusion syndrome.

It makes me feel faint and exhausted, and I also have cognitive difficulties.

It’s usually diagnosed by a transcranial Doppler scan.
