Just now diagnosed with SCC

Hi everybody, just now diagnosed and found/joined group. Feeling worried. I don’t know much about squamous cell carcinoma. I’m shocked because I hardly ever spend a lot of time in the sun. It’s on my butt! Must be all that rockhounding I did back in 2015-2020 with my butt in the air looking for agates). I am going in for Mohs ?Surgery soon, Has anyone done that or have any advice? Thanks 🙏🏼

@grammato3 I had my LAST TREATMENT yesterday! I rang the Gong! I am ecstatic. The doctor repeated that radiology for my type of cancer (Stage 1 - Localized) is 95 % successful and I will see him in 2 weeks for a follow-up appointment. I am still tired and sore but that should lessen as time goes by. He also gave me a prescription for Silver Sulfadiazine to help with healing/pain in that area.
Thank you for reaching out and your continued support . It's great to have such a resource such as yours available. Very comforting to this gal!!
