Is this hot weather affecting your COPD.

The heat and humidity are brutal down here in Florida.

yes and this is the first year that it has really bother me and hands was tingling and i will wait till the sun goer down . male age 84 and hope not one else suffers from the the heat thanks Gibby

I've lived in Texas 50 plus years and have seen the effects of climate change over the past decade increase exponentially, particularly with rising heat, drought, and floods. Now I either walk first thing in the morning, before 7:00 because it doesn't get cooler in the evenings here at all or use the gym to exercise. I have moderate COPD and I can no longer handle excessive heat particularly when it's coupled with humidity. I also reverse hibernate; if I'm going to take long walks etc I do so in the few cool months that we have here and stay mostly in the air conditioning during the day's the rest of the year.

Absolutely! I feel like I'm going to have a panic attack sometimes because it's so hard to breathe.

@atababy123 Louisiana too! I do not leave home unless I absolutely have to. Heat index has been as high as 108 degrees where I live.

The hot weather is horrible with COPD . I have installed air machines in my house . I seldom go out anyway . I do still open my windows and doors in the evenings to cool the house as best it will. I don’t have many days that I have to use the air conditioner. I live in Michigan . I am about 50 miles below the Big Mac bridge, so not too many really hot days . I see a few coming up . If gets real bad , taking a cool shower is good . Spray water bottles help too. Love and Peace to all. Crystalena

@atababy123 I’m in Arizona. No humidity but 108-115! I stay in between 10am and 9pm !!!🥵🥵🥵

I’m in central Texas, it’s very hot here, feels like big oven during the day.

Very humid down here too.

In Virginia, we gave have a couple day hot, this week we has some temps coming at 102, i have severe copd cant handle humidity
