Is there a forum for central sleep apnea patients with Remede implant
I have severe central sleep apnea and had the Remede implant 2 years ago and am looking to connect with others with this implant. I am particularly interested in knowing how others are being treated and monitored and if there is any news about the future of this device. The device has been a real blessing and replaced a very aggressive BiPap ST machine that was terrible.. I now have an excellent rep from Remede monitoring and adjusting my device but continue to worry about the future of the device.

Any update? I want to know how the surgery went, hope everything went smoothly!
I have had the Remedy device implant for at least two years and when it was working, my sleep was noticeably improved and had more energy.
Unfortunately even though I am 71, I still enjoy a very physically active life as a Landscape design/install contractor and have managed to dislocate the wire leads for the device twice. This requires surgery to repair and I am not sure that I am going to repair it a second time of just have the device taken out.
Would love to know if this is a common problem.
